Well it was a long exhausting process yesterday but we passed the interview.

What we thought was going to take a couple of hours ended up being 7.5 hours at the embassy. They had hundreds of students there yesterday applying for student visas and since we had the last appointment time for the K-1's we kind of got pushed back. We had a 8:45am appointment and ended leaving at 3:30pm, we should be able to pick up the visas on Wednesday, just in time for our flight that night. Thank you for everyone's help and kind words during this process. I will post the whole experience when we get back home. Our thoughts are with everyone for quick approvals.

Wow, you have to wait 1 week or did you mean the next day to get the visa???
Also my interview should be scheduled soon. What did they ask you? I am USC and i married my wife in Peru. How should i prepare for the interview? Is my passport enough? I mean i been to peru almos every 2 or 3 months and for short 2 or 3 days stays!
