My husband is in jail and immigration called us for interview in 2 weeks time
I called jailhouse and they said bond is set for $25,000.00 and I do not have 10% of it for now...They set court date 01/10/08 What can I do?? I need help and advice on this, please...

Perhaps you can request for the interview to be re-scheduled?

Who is in jail? US Citizen or K-1 visa holder? If the K-1 holder, this may be a big problem for AOS.

Also why is this a K-3 VISA question, your timeline shows entry on a K-1 so I will assume you are talking about AOS interview, this should be an AOS forum question.

Postponing the interview will only stave off the inevitable. From the range of posts, it appears the marriage is no longer viable. You should consult with an immigration attorney to review any options available.

Ekk by the sounds of the bail amount I would say get an immigration attorneyand criminal lawyer balled into one if at all possible, but I am here in Orlando and working with law enforcment, would say the story is somewhat ummmm...interesting and confusing.

I'll tell you what.... I have a money order for $5000. I will send it to you. Deposite into your account. All you have to do is send me back $2,500. Then I can help with the bail bond.

I was just joking around. I was thinking the first post was a scam, because just yesterday the husband posted saying that his wife left him with the baby.

Just came across this thread by accident and wanted to make sure I read it clearly. If the wife is using the husband's account and posting under his name today, then ........ How was he able to post from jail? So wife left him, he posted, he ran to jail. She jumped on his account from ?????? to ask for help? If she left him with the kid then bails him out will he show for the interview?

Just questions thats all.

Don't give mrs jibowo a hard time, she was just trying to turn it around as the "lovely couple" are out to scam someone & obviously mrs jibowo figured that out before anyone else!
All of us are on here regarding ligitimate visa issues, help & support eachother...this is a tough time for everyone being separated from our loved ones then you get a$$holes like that, looking for a good-hearted soul that pities them!
VJ members have shown support & dedication to helping others even long after they've completed the process, some are still there to assist & give advice. I may not have posted much here but I am definitely learning from everyone sharing information...thank you to everyone...anyone who isn't legit, get out of our "home"...

This whole site is so supportive and with nonsense on what you posted if "its is true" then forgive but after re-reading the whole thread, me thinks you should be thinking about leaving the USA as you give the rest of us a bad reputation during the time that all we want is our loved ones here and we are doing it the right legal way.
