We haven't had a touch yet but i've seen plenty of the July filers getting approved already. I'm getting worried and anxious to find out what has happened with our petition...so can you help me out by teaching me how to do the "RFE Trick" when calling USCIS?

Just call the toll free information number and push all the selections like you would if you have received an RFE. It'll connect you to a live immigration officer instead of the usual customer service representative that gives you scripted answers.

That's right. All you need to tell them is that you would like to know the status of your case. That's it. Below is what you have to do to get connected with the RFE Line (Which directs you to the CSC or VSC...depending where you filed your petition)

I dialed customer service number: 1-800-375-5283 Prompts 1-2-2-4(RFE prompt)-2-1-enter Rec't # 1(to verify)

That's it. If you get someone nice, they will give you more details on your case. If you don't they'll give you the USUAL speech about the processing times and how the process is handled, blah blah blah.
