Does anyone know the answer to this?

My mother got her I-130 approved, she is waiting for NVC to send her further information on when to apply for 485 and other applications. Now there is a family emergency, can she go to her country and come back when NVC replies back with the information? What is the process? does anyone know? please let me know, its urgent.
