I got another email with deals... Don't know if anyone is still trying to travel from Accra... I'm not sure who the GIA is, but if it is the continuation of Ghana Airways, I wouldn't trust them no matter how cheap they are. I heard the new attempt at having an airline is having trouble keeping up their planes and their airport fees.

PS - if y'all don't want me to post these, then I will stop. I'm not trying to advertise for them as I've never actually used them. They got my email address from the agent that I did use in Accra. I just remember struggling to find a cheap ticket.

Dear Client,
April is the month to travel. Most airlines departing from Accra have lowered their fares. Here are a few offers:

$550 to London - KLM
$333 to London - GIA
$600 to Dubai - Ethiopian
$879 to Guangzhou (China) - Ethiopian
$519 to London - Alitalia
$700 in Business Class to London - Afriqiyah

South African Airlines also announces the extension of its Companion fare promotion to April 30. Travel with your companion to Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth or East London and pay only for your ticket -- your partner travels for FREE! Tickets start at $927

*All fares quoted do not include airport taxes or fuel surcharge.
*All fares subject to change without prior notice.
*Other conditions apply.

This year's peak travel season begins in mid-May and ends by mid-September. Already, seats on some airlines such as KLM and BA are nearly sold out in the cheaper classes for some dates during the peak season.
Please book your seats now and make sure you have your tickets issued to avoid higher fares if you intend to travel during the high-season.

That is great information...Even though there are cheaper airlines, I only trust KLM. I thought the service was pretty good and loved the dutch food.

No, I used Mercury Travel in Osu. I've also used one down the road from Mercury, but I can't remember the name. Mercury Travel is owned by a very nice man though, so I like to go through him. The company that sends me these emails got my email through the other travel agency that I have temporarily forgotten the name of.

If I were to recommend anyone, I would say Mercury Travel, but it seems this other company is fairly cheap.

I was sceptical the first time I flew with them but Ethiopian Airlines is really nice. I'll fly with them anytime they offer flights for less than the competition. So far, they have.

I think it's good info. I don't think you should worry at all about posting it.
