Also if anyone has any ruff guess as to when I might get to the US to would be greatly appreciated

that's not really the point of this forum and also not much help. This forum is more for people to discuss progress from receiving packet 3 to going to interview and also to see how far may fillers are in the system and hear peoples experiences.

Actually, the point of the UK forum is to chat about all things British. As a side bar it is also to discuss particular problems or questions that are London specific. The Consulate and K-1 forum are the areas designed for the information that you wish to know above (which I bolded).

You'll often find people discussing Haggis, sausages and British TV in here more than visa based stuff (which was the idea behind the country specific forums). biggrin.gif

Thank you mags.

OP - the whole point of making timelines is to be able to compare your data to others.

What a way to make a guy feel welcome in the UK forum!

This forum has been continually used for a variety of topics including food items, but also waiting for packet 3 & packet 4 discussions.

As there is a big crop of UK K1 filers recently approved, maybe we might enjoy some of the camraderie that the regional forum has to offer.

I thought people might enjoy a little banter about this important stage of everyone's journey. Like you say we have had a lot of UK K1's approved recently

His original question was:
Also if anyone has any ruff guess as to when I might get to the US to would be greatly appreciated

So I referred him to the VJ timelines - the best way to get an idea of timing for your visa/consulate/service center.

Anyhow, Mags stated the purpose of the regional forums. It is clearly stated on the landing page as well.

guesstimate

you see the question that i asked was not the point of the forum.(the forum is for talking about May K1 filing from posting packet 3 to getting packet 4). I did ask about getting to the us before Christmas this was only a side question, for people to place opinions, experience and knowledge to help guesstimate when i would be in the US. I did state I have looked at timelines but at this stage its hard to say even while looking at the timelines and that is why i was asking for people to help and people didn't have to respond to that question if they didn't want to. But I'm sorry if it caused such a fuss

Yep, it sure does:

And historically this forum has been used for packet 3 & packet 4 discussions and tracking of progress. I never saw those threads criticized.

ANYWAY...

I sent in the 129f late april, but there was the whole H1B thing going on so it didn't get processed until may. So technically i guess i'm a may filer.

I'm currently waiting for packet 4, hoping that i'll get an interview before the end of the year (but starting to doubt it). My good lady will be flying back mid-january, and I was hoping to be flying back with her smile.gif

I-129F sent : 27-4-07
NAO1 recieved : 21-5-2007
NOA2 recieved : 29-8-2007
Pkt 3 recieved : 20-10-2007
Medical : 1-11-2007
Pkt 3 returned : 15-11-2007

This was my timeline:-

I129F sent 23rd April 2007
NOA1 21st May 2007
NOA2 27th August 2007
P3 returned 8th October 2007
Interview 7th November 2007
Flying to Detroit 8th December 2007 kicking.gif kicking.gif

I called the Department of State about 8 days after returning my Packet 3 and they were able to tell me my interview date. It was easy to get through and they were very helpful.
