slam everyone,my wife is going for her interview in isb embassy soon.i want to ask all of u a question.our nikkah was held 4 years ago and rukhsati was held in 2006.i had applied for her visa.i mentioned nikkah's date as marriage date and gave uscis my home adress as adress where we lived togather.now at time of interview should she mention nikkah and ruksati ceremonies seperately?should she bring only nikkah photos or both nikkah and then ruksati and walima pice?can embassy make an issue of this thing?any suggestions....

I would take as much evidence as possible to validate your relationship, as well as telling her to just answer the questions asked...they have seen many instances of nikah and rukhsati being separated by a long period of time so I wouldn't be worried about that.

Do not mention to them about the Rukhsati!!

I checked out this information from my cousin who got her K3 Visa last year. Her lawyer told her not to mention anything about just doing a Nikkah and not a Rukhsati. According to them you got "married" on the date given in you Nikkah Naama. This is as you said also mentioned in the I-130. So stick to that. Rest is up to you. She did as she was told and got the visa in one week.
