I'm getting kind of discouraged.
No one from Montreal has gotten an interview in awhile...
I'm very curious as to what month they are booking now so I can get some sort of time line on when I'll have my interview

My weekend was fairly average - although snowflakes fell yesterday (but didn't settle) which was interesting.

I'm hardly getting to spend any online time with Mark at all lately because he's so busy with work and this is making the waiting more difficult, but I'm remaining positive and focusing on future.

Just curious - We filed on Dec 5th and as far as I can tell, our application has not been touched. Is that unusual?

Not at all - ours hasn't either. A number of people on the boards have been approved without ever seeing a single touch on the online status (a system that seems a bit flaky to me).

Hang in there, you should hear something soon I hope!

Also, if you're filing through CSC (timeline?) the petition is likely still sat in a box waiting as there have only been about 5 or 6 CSC December approvals reported here so far I think.

Thanks for that - my heart says we will get the approval tomorrow, my head says late this month early next lol. Its funny the dead calm that decends after filing. We have the wedding organised - open date of course. Honeymoon, employment etc etc, and then...................................... lol

Just wanted to let everyone know that I received packet 3 in the mail today. I did a little dance while I opened it <-- Something like that!! The forms are completed and waiting to be mailed tomorrow!

I'm convinced that we'll see a lot more December approvals for CSC before the end of this month (yes, I'm an optimist ) so try to keep your spirits up!

I agree with you actually - The last week of April and then May should see major action for the December folk

17 April 2008. She said they were very kind and had no problems. Questions were basic. I think a solid document package is the key. Thanks to this website and the many, many postings that I have read made this possible. And without having to pay counsel.
I wish the best of luck to everyone - there have been some tough days but I know there are others that are waiting longer than I have. Stay resolute.
I will keep participating in this community because I hope I can contribute something of value - that which has been / will be so valuable to me.
Am waiting now for 1st week in May arrival. Boy do I have a lot of painting and cleaning to do before then

I'm just waiting on my interview date. I called DoS yesterday and the lady said my package 3 was put into the system on the 8th of April and I'm qualified for an interview, just nothing has been scheduled for me yet.

Hi serdar, its good to hear that your paper have been touched..... My paper have been touched sinced 12-30-07, well, hope we'll get our NOA2 soon.... i got my fingers crossed...

hopefully we will see alot aprovals by next week because they did reall good last year this time so keep praying and it will come soon and eveybody will be with their family ..I really miss my kids and I just cannot wait to be with them soon ..

hey december filer at csc ..has anybody got aproved lately ?I do not see many aprovals from csc these days or nobody is posting nothing??
I got 2 touches 04-25-08 and 04-28-08 so hopefully december filers get ours this week or sometimes in may ..

I haven't been touched since Dec 30, 2007.
I guess CSC filers aren't coming to VJ much, because it's depressing.

Update - turns out that the touch yesterday signified us being processed and approved!!!

I hope that this gives encouragement to the other December filers

I was touched yesterday as well and got my NOA1 on Dec. 20 which is close to your date.
How did you find out that you were approved? By email?
This will keep my hopes up that I will get approved soon as well.

When we registered on the USCIS website we checked the box for Mark to be sent e-mail notifications and so we got touched yesterday, and then he got the e-mail notification of approval today! I've heard that the e-mail system is buggy though, so don't lose heart if you don't get an e-mail immediately. And good luck, hope you hear for certain soon!

My NOA1 is dated Dec 14th 2007. From CSC.

I have no updates since then. No "touches" no "RFE"s Nothing.

I'm just wondering, those of you who are at CSC, December Filers, who have not been approved, have you gotten any touches or RFEs at all?
