Does anyone have a strong preference for one over the other? I hate showers because I have terrible balance.

I prefer baths, but time usually dictates a shower.....

to get clean, I like to have a shower but sometimes you just need a nice soak in a hot, bubble bath...

I'm a shower person. It's too hard to wash my hair in a tub. I would only take a bath if I needed to relax.

I am too impatient for a bath - I get bored and too hot. If I read, it's guaranteed that I am going to drop the book into the water.
Showers for me, incl. the singing. I got speakers in my bathroom, so I can listen to music while I shower and dance around while I brush my teeth.

I prefer both, now that I don't have a bathtub I miss I had one so I could take a bath and relax...

Exactly. I'll soak in the tub for a while (no bubble bath....bad for the motor/pump, apparently), and then I'll quickly shower afterward. Sometimes ya just need that long soak. lol

I used to ADORE baths (yay for Radox!) but now, since moving to the USA, have found that the baths are shorter than my UK one so I prefer a shower now.

I'm more of a shower person since it's quicker and easier...
However, like many of you, I love to soak in the tub every once and awhile. When I lived in NY I'd take hot baths during the winter time to warm up.
Now I live in Florida and take cool showers because of the heat.
My husband, from Brazil, is used to taking showers and I've yet to see him take a bath.

I love showers! The idea of a bath seems icky to me. But I had to stop taking baths really early (like 3 years old) because the doctor said my skin was too sensitive to sit in water that long. Still pretty much true.

My choice depends on some factors:
Is it morning or evening?
Cold or warm outside?
Lots of time or not?
Am I really dirty or just want to freshen up or relax?
Alone or with my fiancée?

Showers are the best! Taking a bath makes me feel I am soaking in my own filth. EEEW.

Ive heard this from alot of folks over the years. And Ive known quite a few who like to take a bath, but end the whole affair with a shower. Interesting stuff.

Showers. I rarely take a bath, when I do is to relax. But my hair is really long and even if I take a bath I'll need to shower my hair to get rid of the shampoo and the conditioner. So showers are better to get myself clean.

In the past couple of years I've started taking baths again after doing only showers for many years... I find it relaxing... but like a few others said it's hard to wash my hair, especially because it is long...and I don't have much time... so it's back to showers again... I don't have a hand held shower device.. but what I do when I'm in a hotel room is take both - (ending with the shower).
