Fees for the medical at St Rita's must be paid in pesos at the current exchange rate for $145. I'm not sure about the fees for visa since with the I-130 those fees are paid with the bill for $380. The bill for Delbros to deliver the visa is no more than 300 pesos in most cases. The embassy accepts dollars, pesos and major credit cards.

Hello chabo, the K3 packet intructions reads:

1. PROOF OF PAYMENT. The application fee for a K1 or K2 nonimmigrant visa is US$100 (or the
Philippine peso equivalent at the prevailing exchange rate) which should be paid by each applicant at
designated branches of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Citibank (see attached list). The
bank will validate your payment on the DS-156 Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form which you will
find in this packet.

Since they are banks, they should be willing to accept US currency or convert dollars to pesos for you.

Unless things have changed recently the bank will validate the DS 157. Normally they give you their own DS 157 and you have to fill it out by hand and make a copy.
I think USEM made a mistake in their instructions in regards to which form is validated.

yes.gif These directions came from the USEM website, but you are correct. Also, you can attach the bank copy to the already filled out DS-157. The USEM wants proof of payment.
