Ironbru is one thing my husband is going to miss more than anything. Well, that and maybe roll and sausage. I love Scotland and being able to walk 30 feet and hit 30 different bakeries with all it's fresh yummy goodness.
BTW my hubby is from Kilmarnock. I think I've been asked to bring back about 4 bottles of Johnny Walker when I come back in Jan. haha

Well Nick LOVES haggis! So glad, means he'll help me track it down when I move to NE. He doesn't like whisky though, prefers JD and coke.
Got a couple of friends coming over tonight for cocktails (using up my spirit cabinet). Nicks last Saturday night in scotland before he heads home to NE. Mojitos and margaritas aplenty tonight.

There must be something about Nebraskans and Scots!
Norfolk eh? I have lots of family up in that area. My grandpa's family came from the Clarkson/Stanton/ area and down in Madison (if they are a Kratchovil or Hartl they are my kin). Unfortunatly more "Jak Semas" Czech stuff than Scottish there!
How do you find Norfolk otherwise?
Although my fiance and I go and visit Nebraska, (as we are this coming January) we're planning on settling permantly in Chicago.

Well I am from Kilmarnock, moved to London in 1997 and moved to Kansas City last year. Really miss Irn Bru, Killie pies and haggis.
It is strange that Johnny Walker whisky is cheaper 4000 miles away than it is in the store that is 15 mins walk from the factory.
