By God's grace, got my visa approved yesterday!!!

Am getting very stressed though here since I was expecting to receive my visa the today. I called the Consulate a couple of times, but still havent issued the visa I hope I hear by tomorrow!

Please share your experiences. Has it taken more than 1 day to receive the Passport? Thanks.

US Embassy in London received my passport on Monday,,and i got my visa through a courier from London today(Thursday).

Im delighted

3-5business days i think

Yeah, 3 - 5 Business Days is what they say. But the Chennai Consulate is known to have it ready by the next day. Hence my worry. I hope there are no problems.

My hubby had his interview on Friday and got his passport with visa stamp the following Tuesday (by courier, to Hyderabad).

My interview was on Wednesday (morning) and I picked up the Passport from VFS on Friday evening!
