Hey everyone, I am a peruvian-american born here in the states. I met my wife and married her last Nov 25th 2006. I filed for her on april 24th with the i130 and just last week i mailed in the ds230 part1 and 2. Now what is next?
Also any advise on what i will need for the interview? My passport has many many entries to peru this year alone as i have made quite a few weekend trips to be with her. Will this be enough evidence? What else would i need? I dont have cell phone bills since i use a calling card to call peru. Any advise?
I was married once before and after 2 years i got my first wife her papers as she was an illegal, the 4th year she left me. Would this compromise my new wife in any way?
For your interview you should take copies of pictures of you and your wife while you've visited Peru. Pictures of your wedding, pictures of you with her family. Hotel receipts. Airline tickets to Peru. If you and you wife traveled together a copy of your plane or bus tickets showing you were traveling together. If you received gifts at your wedding, maybe the cards that peopel gave you. Hotels receipts. E-mails or Cards that you have sent your wife or perhaps she has sent you.
Maybe you have sent her flowers and she kept the card that came with the flowers.
Now i am nervous, i have no receipts, IU throw everything away!! I have lots of pics that i will put into an album!
Also I have all my peru entries on my passport, hope that helps!
