I am hearing a message that says "A packet of information and documents was generated on xx/xx/xx and will be sent in few weeks".

I dont see this among the automated response listed in this forum.

Anyone any ideas what this means ?

Last document i mailed was my completed 864 and am waiting for DS 230

Are you sure? There are 2 different message under DS230 Generation message...

I figured I follow my gut feeling..

My DS230 has been generated and my automated response is messed up and update me of something else.

you are right, i checked later , i just saw your first list in Bold ...so i am glad , looks like indeed DS 230 generation ..oh well hopefully last document to NVC before wifey is here

What is JS 2.0??

Its called James Shortcut, 2.0 is just an updated version of that document, there is a link in this forum among top topics that explains how you can generate your own barcode and mail the forms yourself once they have been generated by NVC, that way you dont have to wait for the mail and some time can be saved.

Although i havent used it and so far going with what NVC has been sending me and it has been ok, its 2 months since the case no was generated and i am waiting for my DS 230 that should be the last document to mail, it was generated yesterday and should arrive by this weekend.

It is listed somewhere else (sorry, can't remember where). it means the DS-230 has been generated and is on its way! I got the same message, and the same day got an e-mail from NVC saying the DS-230 had been generated.
