OK spent over an hour today chasing my Dr's who have managed to LOSE my childhood vaccination records, I had polio drops, BCG(TB) and meningitis in high school which they have found. So the way I read the vaccination chart the only ones I need to get are TD and MMR (and bloodtest for varicella for AOS) is this correct? I'm 26 by the way.

I also had tetanus in highschool as I remember being very unwell afterwards but they have managed to lose that one

For AOS Particular vaccinations are age-appropriate - MMR, TD and varicella are the most common vaccinations issued (age 18-64).

Shots needed are:
  • Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR)
  • Tetanus and diptheria toxoids
  • Varicella

Thanks. I was worried I was reading it wrong or mis-understanding. I'd read threads on here before about people getting 5 or 6 different shots.

Well round one of shots (MMR part 1 and TD) commences on thurs 6th dec just after dropping nick at airport to go back to NE (so I'll be both sore and miserable!) with second MMR dose beginning jan. Apparently 3 weeks after 2nd dose you may feel lethargic and have flu like symtoms....GREAT...my b'day is 3 weeks later!!!!!!!!!! Going to do bloodtest for me at 1st one too.

I had just one shot of the MMR and the TD jab. Knightsbridge doctors never said anything about having a second one. I had a bid of a headache the day after and I got a lump on my arm for about 5 days after but that was all.

Varicella is not available in the UK.

My gp nurse gave me a blood test to prove I had the chicken pox antibody.

I am 29.

I just had the MMR as everything else was up too date.
