Well we didn't get married Tuesday like I'd thought. We went to the court house Tuesday at 10:30am to get the license. We were scheduled at 3:30pm for the ceremony. Well we got a call at the house at like 10:45 fromt he court house saying we needed to be there before noon to have the ceremony cause the jodge was leaving early for the day. We were not prepared for this. We didnt bring the rings, cameras, nothing. We were pretty mad. We were not going to get married in Jeans and t-shirts. We eneded up going to a different county for the ceremony. We didn't even have to pay for it lol. Our son was the ring barrer. He enjoyed that. We didn't really get a honeymoon, but we did get a hotel for the night. We had a great Thanksgiving. I have been here for every holiday but Thanksgiving, so I was excited.

Friday we went to Savannah for a honeymoon/vacation with our son. We stayed on Tybee Island for the 1st night and got a hotel right at the ocean. It was a beautiful scene. It was kinda cold though. In the 50's a really windy. Saturday we went into Savannah and drove down River St 3 times. Just a small warning for anyone ever going there. Don't ever drive your vehicle on River St. Your vehicle will hate you for it lol. We drove in the Celica and it sucked lol. We plan on going back to Savannah in May or June when its warmer.

Overall we had a great week, minus the few bumps in the road along the way lol.

Congratulations! It sounds like everything was wonderful after the first moment of disappointment about moving up the wedding time. I'd love to go to Savannah. It does sound like a nicer place to be in the warmth though! I don't know what you mean by the River St. comments though. Is it all cobblestone or something? I know that can be rather "bumpy" to drive on! haha All the best in your new home. You REALLY had something to be thankful about this year!

Congratulations on your marriage and honeymoon!
My hubby and I were in Savannah this weekend visiting friends and it was terribly chilly . We did the carriage tour on Saturday and Savannah was beautiful. The boat show was beautiful! We would move there if it weren't the most haunted city in the US (according to our tour guide).

It was the Ocean Plaza Beach Resort. Its supposed to be the biggest hotel on the island and it can be costly. We got the off-season prices, so I can just imagine how expensive it'll be in the warmer months.
