Im always wondering about this too. Some forms dont have a box for "Other" and technically he's from Africa, so does that make him an African American? I dont put a lot of fuss into it, just curious.

Hubster is Arab-Berber as is his family for eons back. My dad's folks came from England 'bout 3 generations back and mixed with Native Americans. Mom's family came from Scotland around 5 or 6 generations back and also mixed with Native Americans. Interestingly enough, my brother and dad inherited some of the darker coloring of our Native American realtives, while mom and I remain fish-belly pale. Hubby likes to say that I am pink and he is brown so we will have a cappucino baby
