Well we got Dan's adjustment of status approval letter today in the mail!!!! kicking.gif good.gif We now have two years to file for his green card. SOoooo glad that this is over for the time being. This was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Thanks to everyone for their support and for answering my questions. I'm sure I will have more when it comes time to file for his green card. smile.gif

Congratulations! Just wanted to ask...didn't he get a two year conditional green card with his adjustment of status? The conditional green card does expire in two years, but I think you have to apply to lift the conditions 90 days before expiry. After that comes the 10 yr green card.

There isn't an interview date on their timeline, so I'm suspecting not. It looks like they applied for everything just prior to the fee increase.

Congratulations Myhearts!

Thanks Karen for correcting me. Dan got his permanent residence card in the mail yesterday. Man was that ever quick. We do have two years to lift the conditions as you stated for his 10 year. No interview! It was transferred to California. And YES we just beat the fee increase. The one positive about the whole process. Got stuck in the IMBRA fiasco, but we made it. Started this whole thing March 06, 2006 and we are finally done a year and eight months later. He is sooooooooo totally worth it though! Love telling people I paid for and imported my husband. wink.gif Thanks for all the well wishes!
