Thanks for sharing the hug. My kitty will sometimes give me hugs too and kisses on my nose....

When I move to Palatine, we will have 2 kittys...should be interesting.
Hello Dear BH45,
Thanks for your post.
I just looked up Cochrane using Google Maps.
WOW!
There are like a dozen streets; a village.
Cool.
A few years ago I lived on a little island in BC with only a few inhabitants and went through culture shock at first.
This took about 2 or 3 months to get through, and since that time, what I thought of myself being a city girl, is false.
I adore the rural living.
Its eclectic residents that embraced me (of course, hee hee), and the community spirit....mmmmm.
No traffic and street lights.
No banks, no large grocery stores.
A ferry that may or may not come, and never on time. Ha! Twice a day.
Ever since I left and came back into city living I cannot re-adjust.
The quiet and the dark is good for the soul.
As a busy wired type person, that style of living would keep me healthy.
I believe I left part of my heart there...
However my fiancé told me you will be living not too far from where his house is. Although we will be moving closer to the lake and downtown at some point, perhaps we can find each other when we get to IL. There are a few of us on here that will be nearby. A social evening would be a blast. We could laugh until we cry about what we are going through. Hahahahaa!!!
Perhaps we get our interview on the same day...that would be cool.
Although I have date in mind and would love for anyone reading this to hold the intention with me.
I am visualizing December Thirteenth.
How exciting....the home stretch.

Gotta luv the kitties, got half a dozen myself. Love is giving a damn about your fellow human beings and this forum is part of that enterprise.

Keep sharing the LOVE.
Mercy Buckets!
A half dozen?!
Mercy is right (
one of my favourite expressions)...how can you pet them all?
You only have two hands.
Tee hee.

More so in THIS forum than in any other. Tis why I do not venture out of here anymore.

Not sure what I'd do if I hadn't of had you guys while we were going through this process. Tis one of the most trying things ever.
LOVE and GRATITUDE is in the air!

This is so HUGE.
And so true.
And so needed.
Plus it's fun!
