Hello everyone,

Some of the fields on the form Ds-230 has build in yellow marks ..
I have printed the form out and the yellow marks were obviously showing on the paper ...Does anybody knows how to get rid of them?
Is it ok if i print out the form and the yellow marks are showing..would NVC accepts them like this?
Thank you in advance..

Yellow marks are supposed to be there to highlight certain information, so don't try to get rid of them.

I know what you are talking about. You must be using a color printer. Use a black and white printer to get rid of those yellow marks.

It's OK. I printed and submitted ours with the yellow mark on them.

You can turn off the highlighting in Acrobat. When you have the form open there should be a button at the top (right hand side) that says "Highlight fields" - just click on it to turn it off or on.

It is good to know. Thanks. When we did ours, I simply used a black and white printer which eliminated the yellow mark.

Amalia, now you know how to take care of them.

i know that they advise one to write case # in the top right corner of the documents one sends to NVC. Should I write my case # on DS-230 too??? Or just my personal documents?
*Marilyn*
you don't need a black and white printer to print black and white.... most printers have an option to print in black and white....

You should write your case number on DS 230 too.
