Hello all

I am looking for a hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
More near possible to the embassy is what I look for.
I donīt plan to go visit any place there....just going for the interview.
Any tips from your experiences? Good, confortable, cheap...
Thans a lot

There are so many to choose from. My husband I stayed at a hostel in Botafogo. It was the best for us since we were in Rio for 10 days and didn't spend much time in the hostel.
It was very comfortable, safe, close to the metro and beach, in a good neighborhood, and affordable. You can find good hostels on-line if that is what you're looking for.
It took 10-15 minutes for us to get to the consulate from there.

Last time I went to Rio, I stayed rented an apartment in Copa. Very nice! Not expensive, safe, and easy to get downtown using the buses or cab.

One time I went to Rio, I stayed in Internacional....very nice, but expensive! Good luck.

I can no longer find the site for the apartment, but we found it by searching on the internet. There were a lot of apartments for rent in Copa area on the internet.
