and let me add that physical beauty won't last forever, it is our inner beauty that stays even when our skin is all wrinkled and sagging. A woman who strives to cultivate her inner beauty, one whose heart is full of kindness, compassion, joy and contentment and one who do not neglect her spiritual growth.. well, there is just a certain aura around them that makes them really beautiful no matter what the race and no matter what shape or color or age.

When i was a child, I met filipina nun, she was almost 50 but it seemed to me that she was glowing and that she was very beautiful and so I wanted to be a nun (of course not all nuns are glowing, there are a number of grouchy nuns in our dormitory before )... then, I also met an american woman who is a missionary she's now in her mid 40's(close to 50), fine wrinkles are already showing in her face but when she smiles and embrace even dirty looking kids, she just glows beautifully! these two women have left an imprint on me. they are from different race and they embrace different religion but they both don't wear heavy make-up.. they only had their infectious smile to enhance their beauty and there was something inside them that made them glow... these 2 women have left a lasting imprint on me.

Filipinas are indeed beautiful but, so are women of other races... to deny that is to deny that they are also God's creation.

And BTW, I am a supporter of DOVE'S GLOBAL CAMPAIGN FOR REAL BEAUTY... i don't get a dime out of it but I SUPPORT AND SALUTE THEIR CAUSE!

As a retired military man, I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to more than 60 countries. I've seen women so breathtakinly beautiful it defies description but without hesitation, no place on earth has as many women who fit this observation than the Philippines. What makes Filipina women so beautiful and in my girl's case, so dangerous? I ask the latter because apparently, according to her family, my Filipina has on two separate occasions, caused an automobile accident when men drove past her while she was simply walking down the street. I'm sure there are many wives/girlfriends of members here who could likewise, cause such commotion.

Aside from their obvious beauty, I think their attractiveness comes from their purity of soul and warm heart. Filipina women, despite conditions that would drive others to tears, always seem to be smiling. But if we're talking visual beauty, I'll paraphrase Lord Byron, who sums it up for me personally when it comes to my girl:

Around her shone
The nameless charms unmark'd by her alone.
The light of love, the purity of grace,
The mind, the music breathing from her face,
The heart whose softness harmonized the whole,

I'm filipina myself but I think all the women around the world is beautiful. It's not about the physical appearance, it's what's inside.

Hahahaha. . no way they are submissive. My Myla has a way of getting what she wants or talk me into what she wants (without chasing me a bolo, lol) . I still cant figure it out but it works. Everything she says makes sense I end up nodding and agreeing, lol. It is probably the lawyer in her. The only way I had my way was talking to her about cooking dry fish in the garage instead of inside the house. Of course at first she didn't listen and insisted it would be okay but once she realized the house actually smelled of dry fish she just kissed me and said " you are right hon, I'll cook it in the garage the next time" . Darn, hahaha, cant argue with that.
