Hi everybody,

I'm visiting my wife Dec. 15th for 2 weeks to celebrate Christmas, New Years, and some anniversaries we miss every month in La Paz, Bolivia. I filed the I-130 in August but still waiting for the receipt (past 90 days). Would it be helpful to give the embassy a visit? I've went there before to ask some questions, but I knew more about the process then the consulate worker who was behind the window. Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions on what I could maybe bring or do, since I'll be in La Paz for a couple. Is it worth it to stop by again?

Embassy won't have anything unless you filed petition directly to the embassy (DCF), the petition is still back in the USA at USCIS (Department of Homeland Security) a different part of the government. The Embassy is part of Department of State.
