When preparing the DS-230 coversheet using shortcut method, how much difference does it really make if you put a date on there that may be off by a day or two from the date of the coversheet NVC sends out to you?? Does anybody here have experience with this, if you put an inaccurate date on there, does NVC really care about that, and if they notice it is different, what do they actually do about it? I am trying to figure this out, as I believe they have generated it yesterday, but since automated system does not say, I am not absolutely sure....
Please advise.
Thanks!
Am not really sure if it will do much hard but from experience I would say "No" since I maded that mistack when I sent my AOS Fee Bill using the (JSC 2.0) and they still accept it into their system..
thx diturbo,
Off-topic, it is very intersting how your case is almost identical to mine, I was reading your timeline, and it is very close to mine - I mailed out my I-130 on first week of May '07, and the NOA1 Receipt date was 5-11-07. And up-to-date, I mailed out my IV Fee Bill on 11-08-07 (received by NVC on 11-10-08 in mail)....just thought I'd mention how close our cases are, within 1 week of each other, and almost paralled in terms of all of the other steps in the process, since we mailed in our I-130 less than a week apart...quite interesting...
