Hi everyone -

I am American and live in Oz with my Aussie husband and we are starting the I-130 process via DCF now. We moved here a year and a half ago from the States where we lived together for about 2.5 years after we got married. Husband and I met in the US and he had a green card. Well, the green card has expired (grrrrrrrrrrr) so we have to start all over again. crying.gif

We got an appointment to file the I-130 in Sydney really quickly - it's next week - November 29th!! Eeek!

Quick question on the G-325A form - at the bottom there is a space for the applicant to put his name and Alien Registration Number. We have not yet surrendered his expired green card b/c we don't know what we are supposed to do (have asked a few times but no response yet) -- should we put his old Alien Registration number in there?? I know, an oddball question. If nobody knows I'll just email the Sydney consulate and pray they get back to us quickly.

Thanks everyone!!

Yes, put the old A number. It's the only A number he will ever have. SSN is an "only" too.
