Has anyone here overstayed in the US but voluntarily went back to the Philippines and got approved?


My fiance went back to the Philippines but he overstayed. Whe he was here his lawyer and requested an extension so that my fiance can have a checkup for his heart. He had a heart murmur when he was younger (3 yrs old) and they sent him here in the US to have his surgery.

Just wondering once we get to the interview and we give them the waiver when do they decide to approve the waiver.

Please help.. worried.
