Hi

Thanks to all who contribute to this forum. You guys definitely have done a lot.

I want to ask how long does it take for my mom to receive the actual DS 3032.

I'm petitioning my mom through I-130. I have used the Jame's shortcut and email the DS 3032 to NVC. Now that I have already submitted my AOS, and waiting for my DS 230, my mom still haven't receive her DS 3032. She lives in China. I wonder if i made mistakes on her address in the I-130 form. If so, who should I contact to find out? I think my case got into NVC for more than a month already.

Hi,

I think the postal guy must have not delivered it to your mom or it got skipped some where... I think it takes 3 weeks to deliver the Form in MAIL .... your mom should go to the local post office and see if the mail is lying there

If you have sent email(DS-3032) to NVC - don't worry! NVC will start to work with this form and you can forget about this letter...

It takes about 2-3 weeks to receive it here in the States, so it's a lot more than that for it to be delivered overseas.

But my concern is if my mom couldn't get the DS 3032, she will not likely to get the interview notice or anything from the embassy?

I'm sure will ask her to check with local postal office.

Did she choose you as the agent? That would simplify things. As I have read on here and on the NVC wesite, everything that is mailed to the intending immigrant is mailed to the petitioner and the agent.

Hopefully you are choice of agent. the DS-230 requires EMS label. This label will be addressed to your mom at her china address. This label will used for P4 package to be sent to your mom in china. So here is the key, while your mom is at the post office (EMS) tell her to get a EMS label and only fill out the "To" section and nothing in the "From" section. When she fills them out fill them out in both Chinese and english. when done have her send them to you.
Another thing, my wife has yet to get DS-3032. The nice thing about the label it has a spot for her phone # so they call her if any delivery problems arise.
I just did this process for my wife in China.
