I have a question on delaying interview. Our case is complete as of 11-16-07, so I'm sure the packet will soon be on the way to Manila. Reading the timelines here for the CR-1, it looks as if there is a good chance for the interview to be scheduled in early Jan., but I have ticket to fly there and arrive the night of Jan 24. My wife would like to be with her for the interview, so I'm wondering what others have experienced in delaying interview.

In case the interview is scheduled before I'm due to arrive I have a couple of questions. How long would the delay be? Do we call NVC or the Embassy to reschedule?

Thank you in advance for any help.

you might be looking at a long delay if reschedule. I'd guess at least a month or more. maybe someone will post who has had an experiencing rescheduling at Manila.

On the embassy's web site they have a click here spot and you can select reschedule appointment from the drop down for reasons you are writing.

Personally, I would call them as I would want to verify everything and have names, dates and times of who I spoke with. Good luck.

hmmm... was due to a pending medical results, therefore was given only few weeks of delay in re-scheduling. It normally takes 4- 8 weeks.
