My wife and I have finally moved into our own apartment, and I think it was the final big hurdle in our whole situation smile.gif She got back into the States on June 5, has a great job and has become best friend's with her boss's wife, got her first brand new car, and now she hand-picked an apartment that she loves smile.gif

While we are still looking at getting the conditions lifted from her permanent residence in a year and a half and getting her citizenship of course, it seems that the hardest parts of the process are over (knocks on everything that even resembles wood).

For anyone who is still in the horrible parts of this journey, I hope you can remind yourself that life is purely amazing once you finally get through it. Good luck to all!

Dearest Bowflex,

That sounds so wonder-full.
Nice to read such happy news.

Being that I am awaiting my interview with Montreal (sweet lord give me patience, haha), it feels like this part of it – the K1 – is only the beginning of more paperwork hell once I am ensconced with my sweetie in the U.S.. It sounds like it does get easier, thanks to your post!
