[font="Georgia"][/font][color="#800080"][/color]I am just thinking what if we pinays in this Vjs Forum try to build a community in CA. well as much as id like to include all the states i dont think its easy. but if they can get together on their same area then it will be great. who knows ONE day we can all have a Grand Eye ball there when we are all free. so for now let me extend this idea for all the pinays who will be in California after getting their VISA. If many of us will like this idea then lets make it! altogether.. Ive read some stories here in VJ about how hard it will be like for the first 6 mos. of adjustment living in US. so i come up with this lil help for us to get through on what they called "HOMESICK" stage. this community should help us keeping in touch with fellow pinays, not just in internet but we can have a regular get together whether with our husbands or family, it doesnt matter..but what matter is that we can go out with fellow pinays whenever we are feeling sad missing our families and friends in here! of course there are few things that only us girls can understand by ourselves no matter how we wanted our husband to feel what we are goin through..i think it would be fun and we can established a good relationships in every ways of life..we can share stories, bond, hangout, or have a big day with our love ones even just once in a week..it would be so nice and fun! all we need to do now, well if any of you are just interested and willing to build friendship, lets start by exchanging communication details. or i can make us a site where we can all register and talk in a forum like this..then continue loggin in till our community in cali gets bigger. USA Penays... That's is a greate idea.
And the forums could provide sub-divisions for every state.

Hmmm perhaps some extra net media features would be fantastic too.
Such as photo, video and document content.
Blogs and IM.
Even a way for family and friends from phil to keep in touch as well.

I think my wife would enjoy something like that, even though we are
in Ok she has family and friends in San Diago, San Francisco and Dallas.

i feel that it would be a great help if this idea will happen..specially for those pinays who will be going out of the phils. for the first time..

as for me..i am currently maintaining a blog . it has different categories like LIVING FROM PHILS TO US, MOTHERHOOD etc.. that includes experiences (from K1 up to day-to-day activities), learnings & useful tips upon adapting into a new life here in US.

hi, there is also a huge filipino community in Las Vegas which is only a 4 hour drive from Los Angeles or San Diego. Closer to LA and San Diego than the Northern Cali groups in San Fran and Sacremento.

There is a large Filipino population in Orange County too. I found a really good Filipinio grocery store up in Orange that my wife loves and there are always Filipinos in there.

then it would be great if pinays near SF or around the area can get together and have a VJ pinay group. my fiancee also has a lot of filipino friends because he's half filipino but of course as for me nobody knows me there yet, and i do think that pinays here in vjs doesnt need to go to that get to know process, because i believe we all feel each others as girls in nature...or if not all atleast those who are first timers like me. Im not afraid to be alone there because im really just a home buddy or must i say loner kind of girl..but its really goin to be a big changes in our environment and culture so i guess its really nice to have your own set of peers who have been through the same stages like this one.
