Hello all I need some I received the IV fee bill today in the mail. When Mike's dad had filed for him back in 2000, he was filed for as married and added his three children to the application. He is now separated and one of the children lives in Canada with his mom and the other two will not be accompanying him when he comes. He wants them to follow him after he comes here. I was appointed as the agent and got the IV fee bill today. I was surprised to see four bills in the envelope. Seeing that the children will not be accompanying him, do we only pay his visa fee bill, or do we need to pay them all now?
Thanks in advance for your help in advance, you guys are great.

You should call NVC and explain this. I am sure, they will ask you to send one bill. Don't worry.

Although it states it was generated on 11/05, it was not mailed unitl 11/13. That's 8 days they had it sitting there. Hopefully, you should get it by tomorrow or sometime this week.

Hey you guys, thanks for the response. Due to my utter excitement and being overwhelmed, I did not read the cover letter and each bill in its entirety. It states on each of the bill:--
"If this fee bill is not for the principal applicant and you are listed on the petition but not travelling with the principal applicant, you must provide that information to the NVC immediately. Do not pay this fee."
I think that this means I only have to pay for the principal immigrant seeing that he is the only one travelling. YAH
What do you think is the best way to notify the NVC of this change? Letter or e-mail or phone call? I know it is a pain to get through to an operator, but I think I will e-mail them and try calling them in the meantime. I plan on sending the IV bill this Friday, because I will be working Mon-Wed from 7am to 7pm and will not be able to get to the bank or USPS until they reopen on Friday.
Last Friday, I got out of work at 12n and thought about getting the MO, but shrugged off because I wanted to be 100% sure about the fees and not having the MO too long. Not that I don't trust the advice and info I read on VJ but I am always skeptical.

Call them and explain. Plus when you mail the fee, write a letter explaining all. I would wait to see what others have to say.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went ahead and e-mailed them last night, but I will also include a letter with the IV fee when I return it this week.
