Hi all,

I filed the I-130 for my stepson (almost 17 yrs. old, not married) last March, have sent in the Affadvit of support etc., sent in the DS-230 in August. I still hadn't heard anything this week and was getting very anxious, so I finally reached a person at NVC and found out the forms had never reached them , so I asked if I could send a copy--but noooooooo, I have to send the form to Mexico (again!) for an original signature of my stepson...Mainly, I am just venting because I am so pissed, but also, I want to say that I was an idiot and didn't send it return receipt--just popped it into the regular mail. Perhaps it can be a lesson to those others who have faith in the postal system.

ANYWAY, aside from that, does anyone know what happens next once the NVC finally receives the DS-230? This has already taken 9 months...I hope we are getting close...
