It's totally anonymous so be honest. smile.gif

If you get a commission or bonuses, just add it on to your yearly total.

Sweetie, how do you not spell my name right when it is my username?

But to be serious, as a Hairstylist I always worked on commission. I would make 50% of what I did, plus tips.

50k. I only work 8 hours. Occasional OTs when I can't stop in the middle of the experiment.

I ticked one up for salaried at 40k. I typically work 32-40 hours a week, although if we are busy enough i could work as much as 80 (GAH!). My most since i took this position about 8 months ago was about 50 or 55. Not too shabby for 23 with only a diploma. Only problem is... there's no where to go but lateral until i get at least a 2 year degree sad.gif.

I can't wait till Tram gets here so we can start our own business or something smile.gif (shes a nail tech and wants to open a salon eventually).

I couldn't edit fast enough but I meant to state I work 8 hrs/day or 40 hours/wk. I get occasional OTs, depends on the experiment I am doing for that day and over-all project in our department. The pay rate still holds true wink.gif

I ticked the wrong box - I just converted EUR to USD and it's a lot more than I thought blush.gif What happended to the almighty dollar? LOL

My contract it says that I have a 40 hour week but I usually work more (I am a Management Assistant/ Corporate Event Coordinator for a Dutch Investment Bank). They also pay my health insurance plus a private pension plan and I get 30 days of paid vacation a year (Germany is awwwwwesome lol) which is my personal highlight!

Oh, and I get a bonus as well. Usually 3 months pay.

The other day I was mentioning how much work I have atm and how stressed I am because it's that time of the year at school. I'm a dept. head and advise 3 clubs/groups, one of which is a charity that supplies food and toys to our community, so the work is heavy at holiday time. My SO said "why don't you take your spa holiday?" WHAT? Apparently in Germany teachers (and maybe all workers?) can get some time to rest and recuperate at a spa-like facility when they are burnt out. Paid. By their health insurance and their company.

Wow.

I get paid hourly. The company pays a portion of our benefits (health insurance, disability insurance, 401K). While I'm at work on location offshore all of my meals are paid for (14 days per month). I get free uniforms (which is great because I never have to worry about what to wear at work).

Having to live away from my home and my wife approximately 6 months out of the year sucks, but it is not continuous. I work a 7 day on / 7 day off work schedule, but it really ends up being 8 days on / 6 days off due to travel time to and from work.

Having 6 straight full days off every other week allows me to get a lot done while I'm at home. I don't know if I could ever go back to working a regular daily 9am to 5pm job with only the weekend off.

not a well laid out poll - shoulda had the yearly salary range with a selection for salary and no choice for hourly, a yearly income for those on hourly and a no choice for salary. as is it's confusing and does not give a clear cut indication of wages for either.

CEOs here don't get it as a perk. But they certainly can afford it.
