Not a problem.

Your Green Card has a "resident since" date printed on the front, and that's the date that's important for the purpose of determining when your period of continuous residence began. It's the equivalent of the date on an I-551 stamp, if you had one. Lots of people don't get I-551 stamps in their passports these days. I think they're the exception rather than the rule.

Thanks... We went through so much (like everyone else) and its a relief to know that we don't have to go through a load more stuff trying to get a stamp in my passport!

Many thanks for the info
