My conditional GC expired in August. I filed my I751 and received a letter extending my residency for travel and employment during the time my 10 year application is being processed.

I want to go to Canada this weekend. Is my expired GC and this letter enough proof for me to re enter the US? I never received an I551 stamp in my passport so I can't use that as further proof.

The extension letter and the expired card are sufficient to re-enter the US after your trip.
