So Pete and I have been discussing what to do about his flight over. (He got his VISA in the post today!!!!) We were pricing tickets on Continental ...and everywhere else....and round trip flights seem to be cheaper than one way tickets. Has anyone ever bought a round trip ticket and just cancelled their flight back...telling them you have a Visa and are staying??? Or will they even let you do that??? Just a question... whistling.gif

I was looking at Zoom airlines and there one way flights to JFK seem quite cheap. Approx £180.

buying a round trip ticket is no problem.... a lot of people do it and just don't use the second half....

From the looks of everyone's responses in the other post...there's more people purchasing round trip tickets....and just tossing the return flight ticket.

I think that is the usual way.
If you are looking for a nice POE, I recommend CVG. And if you check www.kayak.com you might find a cheap flight on Delta Airlines.

They do cheap one ways via Dublin with American Airlines

or

www.americanairlines.co.uk

Enter one way from Dublin to your local airport

and make your own way to Dublin.

US Immigration is done at Dublin.
