Hi folks,

My I-751 NOA is 04thJan '2007 with NSC. From the other topics I have seen here, there are still people with NOA before me who are awaiting approvals so I have little hope my approval will come anytime soon. My GC expires in March 2007. Should I be applying for an extension before it expires? Is it through an infopass appointment at local center and when should I typically approach them.?
Also I will be applying for citizenship. Can one apply 3 months before the 3rd anniversary of the conditional GC like I-751?

Thanks in advance for all the responses.

regards,
sandeep

Some people have suggested making an infopass appointment and getting the I551 stamp in the passport.
At this point it is advisable to check the expiration date of your passport and make sure it will not expire any time soon.

As for the citizenship - as far as I know you can apply 90 days before you become eligible (regarding the continuous residence requirement, other must have been satisfied by time of filing)
Read this USCIS guide for reference:
http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/M-476.pdf

(starting page 17 it explains the eligibility requirements, and page 22 bottom explains the 90 days before fulfilling the continuous residence requirement)
