I'm finally alert enough to thank all of the people who came to my slumberparty Sunday night and all of the support and congratulations I really don't want to think of going though this things without the wonderful people on this board There are some fights sometimes, but overall there is alot of luv and support here....

Hump day.....1191 days to go....made a mistake before...left out a month

Just starting to pull our paperwork together for Simo's Removing of Conditions and realizing that I've been a little too zealous with the recycling...I've tossed out all our old bills, but it turns out you should supply evidence from your entire marriage!

Maybe I can get some reprints of old bills from the companies...what a lot of hassle!

I'd love to let Simo do the paperwork, but his attention to detail is less than stellar...

Growing up in the 70's I was fed the belief that when we hit the year 2000 we would be driving FLYING cars and wearing space suits like the ones on the Jetsons.


Well helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, it's 2007 and my car is still driving on the GROUND.

Yep and I'm loving it !!!! We're walking around in sandals and summer clothes, still picking fresh veggies from the garden -- tomatoes, okra, eggplant, bell peppers and hot peppers Not in any hurry for winter to get here -- I hate the cold.

What do they want - one/year, one/month? I just thought we would have to send the most recent ones...

They want examples from the entire marriage. For instance you wouldn't have to send in every single bill from your joint accounts for the last 2 years, but maybe one from the beginning, one from the middle, and one from recently.

We still have a few months to worry about it. Most of everything we do is online now anyway and I think I can print out past bills pretty easily...

Right. Recent ones only show that the names are on the accounts recently - as if you combined them to show USCIS proof. For example, let's say you rent an aprtment and the lease has always been in the USC's name. Then because its time to file wit USCIS and provide evidence, the lease is changed to show the LPR's name. doesnt it look like it was chnged only to create evidence?

Use evidence that shows over the entrie time of the marriage that things have been combined. You want to show a bonafid relationship over the time married.

Carolyn, as far as the lifting conditions stuff I didnt have old bills but I had some other things covering the entire time(date stamped pics, some travel itineraries of visits to my family, and 3 years of taxes filed as married). I actually didnt send in a huge stack of stuff, I went minimalist and I havent heard back yet (we just did the biometrics last week) so I'll keep you posted if they want more from us or if they are ok with what I provided. and yeah, I hear you about the detail stuff. Adnan offered to work on it but I am not sure if all Ts would be crossed and all Is dotted So I did it myself.....

'Happy' Wednesday MENA...Glad i stayed away yesterday. Will keep my opinions to myself because God only knows how quickly ill get bashed and then lots of 'people' will jump on the 'bandwagon'

Oh really Jackie? That's awesome!!! I like haircuts. I got one and if you OM me your email sometimes, I'll show it to you. I showed them a pic of gwyneth paltrow and asked for her layers and got them! My hair is really long now, all the way down to the small of my back. By 30lbs lighter do you mean you lost some weight? if so, congrats! I'm trying. I even am going back to some walk-running once to twice a week, and a few nights of abs/arms.

Just a comment I'd like to make. For those of you that send PMs and have sent me PM's in the past. I find it very un-cool of those that sent PM's about the "lier" that sent money to her husband. I suppose I received one of those PMs in error (everyone go check your outbox) and the person you are speaking of is my cousin (oh yah) and until you know what the situation was, how dare any of you say anything! I will speak out for her because she's so pissed off she can barely stand it. Never ever did she send money for support, if she did whose business is it? She sent money to her husband so his young cousin could receive medical care and money for his cousins mother that was then going through a divorce. I'll not go into details, but I cannot believe how some women on this board act. It's no wonder I prefer not to hang here. I'll be the better person and not say who the PM was from, however there is a little devil sitting on my shoulder telling me to do so.
