Hi there! Long Time Reader 1st Time Poster

My Husbands visa interview was on the 29th of October and his Medical was on the 2nd of November. They said everything was fine, how long does it normally take to actually get it couriered to you?

As long as everything is fine with the processing, he should have it very, very soon! I would be surprised if he didn't have it by the end of this week. smile.gif

Thanks for the quick response! Do they normally tell you if there is a problem? At the interview the woman just said it was approved on the basis of a clear medical and then gave us the pink courier form.

It takes about 4 days for the medical results to get to the embassy, so once they have the results, the visa should follow a few days after that. I believe that if there were a problem at the medical the doctor would have informed your fiance.

They would normally tell you. Also, there is only a problem with the medical in extreme cases. If he had his vaccinations up to date (or did them at the medical), isn't going to harm himself or others (ie, having a record of sucide attempts without a "good-to-go" letter from his doctor would be bad), has no dangerous and communicable disease (like AIDs), and doesn't do illegal drugs, everything is fine!! smile.gif
