I had to vote Maroc on the 2nd and 3rd question, even though I didnt really qualify for the 3rd question. The poll wont allow the 3rd question to be left unanswered. But I still give you an E for effort dearie

Yes,I always send money. However no set amount. I recently had another debit card issued and approved for use in PI. Sending money by Western Union not expensive, but added up. I send between 300 and 400 usd a month. It is very important to me that my wife have nice clothes. I recently purchased a new Honda Wave 125r for her. I feel that anything we can do to help our SO through the stress of the journey should be at the top of the list. Many of them are hesitant to ask. Remember a little can go a long way in so many places. God be with all on our journey. Best wishes to all john & jean...

I know and i have no clue why. I have read of many people on this site sending money to their wives/fiances/husbands and yet people aren't voting.
I think I should have offered free beer or donuts.

Yup, Thailand.
I had my fiancee move back to her village to be with her family during the process because when she gets here, it will be a year + before she and I will go back. Now that she is not working, I took the responsibility of helping out mom and dad with the rice and cattle.
NOW WHERE IS MY BEER(s)????

You're offering
Bud as an incentive??

Bud is water with a beer-like flavoring

I didn't send Lai money, just presents. She was doing at least as well as me, so there was no need.

Homeboy and I had lived in Cancun for a few years. I moved back to the States, Hurricane Wilma came through a month later. The house we rented was destroyed as well as the mall where he worked...he was out of work for four months. And there was a tamarind tree on top of the house.
Heck yeah, I sent him money!

We both helped each other a couple times while separated if it was needed. When me and my dad went to India, Suj paid for almost everything for us while we were there. I came home with a little money I never needed while there, even after buying gifts for fam back home, how often does that happen after a trip?! lol My grandmother offered to pay for his plane ticket to move to the US. He sent me stuff, I sent him stuff, but neither of us actually asked of it from each other. Now I don't work and he pays for everything so he is doing a lot more for me than I did for him!

We never sent each other money, but one time when it was much cheaper for my husband to buy my airline ticket on his end, than for me to buy it on my end, he did and I just paid him through PayPal.

Why does it matter? I didnt vote because listing the countries seemed pretty much in poor taste. What are you trying to learn from this poll? How many SO's are poor?? Shame on you. Other people's finances are no business of yours.
