I am K3 visa holder and now preparing my documents for AOS. I have difficulties with my EAD. What to answer to question 16 of the form - a 9 or c 9. Where to file EAD. According to instructions if I am "a 9" - K 3 visa I have to file it to California. But I see from VJ that I have to file it to Chicago with the I 485. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are filing for EAD along with your AOS the it is C9..... If you are filing for just the EAD as a K3 holder then it would be A9....

I believe you are filing for AOS and EAD so if that is right then everything gets sent to the Chicago LockBox....
