Package 3 for K-1 visa is sent by the consulate to the beneficiary, and in most cases several of the forms are filled out and returned to the consulate.

Typicaly DS-230 Part 1 is returned to the consulate, Part 2 may or maynot be used for K-Visas, and Affidavit of support (I-134 / Paystubs / IRS returns / employer letter) are brought to the consulate for interview.

This question is K-1 related and should be posted in the K-1 forum OR "The Foreign Embassy and Consulate General Discussion" , NOT "Moving Here and Your New Life In America" forum.

You will get packet 3 in the mail at your Canadian address-- it incudes instructions and other nice things.
Good luck, L.
