hi guys

Before I met my husband I never thought I would be leaving the country, so I never ask for a passport before and now that I have to do it ,I ask to my friends and one told me if I'm going to do it ,I can't do it without not knowing my departure date yet because they will cancel it if I ask for it and I don't use it in the following three months and this process has been so slow that I don't I will be leaving in the that time.

So when you asked for your passport for the first time how long after that you use it for the first time ?.

And can they really cancel it if you don't use it ?

Get the passport now. You cannot possibly know your departure date until you obtain the visa and you cannot obtain any visa without a passport.

Generally speaking, passports when issued are good for travel and have a validity period of between 5 and 10 years. Your friend must be confused about this 3 month cancellation thing.
