hello my dear VJers! kicking.gif

i just called SLEC a while ago and asked them the following questions and their answers are below each question:

1. what if i haven't received yet my packet 4 and my medical appointment is very soon according to the on-line?
SLEC: you can bring your printed out copy from the on-line services of the embassy. your medical appointment should be 2 weeks before the interview date. and you cannot come weeks before for advance medical becoz we are avoiding the SLEC to become crowded.

2. can i get my packet 4 from SLEC? how will I do that and how long will it take?
SLEC: sure, you can get your packet 4 here in SLEC from the US embassy. just fill up a request form during your medical exam and come back once your packet 4 is ready for pick-up. however, we don't know how long will it take for your packet 4 to arrive here.

now, my questions are:

i want to get my packet 4 from SLEC coz my packet and appointment letter might not arrive in our province coz the courier might not find our address in the subdivision. if i request to get my packet in SLEC, how long does it take from the time you requested up to time you get your packet in SLEC? will this be enough before the interview?

and worst case, what if my packet did not arrive in SLEC and in my address, can i use the printed out copy?

can i still have early medical? like 3 weeks before my interview date?

for those who have experienced this, please, i need your response.

thanks a lot po!!!

God bless us all!

I'm helping a friend and he just called St. Lukes [hour ago] and a lady said she will request the packet from the USEM and it will be at St.Lukes in 2 days.
Believe me when I say you can't trust any info you get from USCIS, USEM, Delbros or St.Lukes.
Been there, done that Bigtime.

Here's the best thing to do... Have your medical done in advance. Go to SLEC with the necessary requirements (e.g. passport, printout from USEM website, NOA2, etc.) to have your first day medical. Before your start, inform them that you want to pickup your packet 4 the next day (your second day physical). They will tell you whether it's possible or if you will need a couple more days to get it. Go ahead with all the procedures for that day and then do whatever they'll tell you regarding your Packet 4. Most likely, you can get it either that same day around afternoon or the next day. Some of my friends did that...

Good luck!
