I'm tempted to wait 1 month or so (we filed AOS+EAD+advance parole on Nov 5th) and start posting my resume. I would make a note under availability of the situation (something in the lines of EAD being processed - available in 1-2 months). Has anyone done this and what was the result?

In your situation, I see nothing wrong with posting your resume. It will take a while to find a position that your interested in, interview, and make it to the hiring phase. I wouldn't mention your EAD status on your resume (I think employers will be less likely to interview you), but I think you would need to bring up your status at the interview and providing your NOA as evidence that you have applied. But let me be clear, you should not start working until your have you EAD card. If you're uncomfortable having to negotiate your start date or possibly get an offer but be unable to accept, wait. Its hard...I know.

I don't see why you couldn't or wouldn't. Go ahead --- from my experience, it will take a while to actually get a job offer, so that gives time for you to get the EAD. Check out careerbuilder (I think it's better than Monster); and ALSO colorcareers (or something like that; caters to "diverse populations"). Another good thing to do is find out where you want to work and do your research, go to the library and find some good resume books. I have found -and taught- that when applying for jobs in North America or anywhere else (besides your own country); you need to translate culturally, not literally when it comes to your resume.
