Hello vjers,
I just want to share something.
My husband already booked a flight for us even though we haven't known what will happen during the interview. I told him that we will just book some if I already have the visa but he is so excited and planned things for us. I am not worried about our documents since we all have it completely but I guess it is risky. It made me nervous now and pressured. lol
I just want to share guys.

just think positive and more prayers. it'll all be given to you... back then we know that we're approved but we're scared to buy the ticket too until we got the visa. so the day i got the visa, was the day he bought the ticket...
its all about planning and believing for a great a outcome so good luck and God bless!!!

It's ok to book your ticket in advance thru a travel agent coz you're just going to reserve it. But you can't do that if you're planning to buy online. I booked mine since last august for January flight and the deadline for the payment won't be until mid-november. Thankfully, I got approved! Don't worry I'm sure you'll do great!

I did the same thing and booked the flights early knowing all are documents were in order.
I also prepared a letter asking them to let Merly pick up her visa and at the end of the interview when the CO said everything is ok, she asked the CO giving her reasons and asking if she could make her flight on the 17th. The CO
said no problem and did not need the letter.
Merly picked up the visa 2 days after the interview. She was visiting friends in the Manila area and was not going home right away after the interview. This and my reserving the flight was the reasons she gave.
I hope this helps.

hubby's interview is on the 15th, we have booked on the 26th, however it will not be paid until they see the visa for the special price we were quoted for. So, i'll say we are excited too!
