With the global warming issues and now bee colony's are disappearing...it concerns me that these could be signs. What do you think?

The world will not end and life will manage to continue, but I believe that our quality of life - the air, water, soil and food quality will continue to diminish to the point that natural catastrophes - widespread droughts, floodings, hurricanes, following by disease epidemics, starvation, homelessness will cause great suffering and death. Working towards a sustainable future requires placing the environment and the quality of life for our children's children ahead of our own immediate gratification, which unfortunately, many aren't willing to do. We can work towards a more sustainable future if there is a consensus of will and sacrifice to do so. It comes down to attitude.

I think it's coming to an end but I don't think global warming will be the cause. I think it will be a nuclear WWIII and it will involve Iran, Israel and whatever countries support these two.

I think that for a very long time now people have thought the world was coming to an end. Think of the middle ages, and how many horrible diseases they dealt with, it would definitely seem the world was coming to an end back then to them I am sure. So many examples like that in different centuries and different nations. It's not just about the environment, it's also a social issue, a people issue in behaviors, not just how big their "carbon footprint" is. I do believe the world as we know it will come to an end one day, when that is I personally have no idea, only God does, even if it seems close. I don't think the environmental problems will be in control of the world ending.

When I was in grade school (K to 6), my teacher taught us that the world will end when the sun goes nova. The sun is supposed to go nova in slightly less than 8 billion earth years. Will I be around for it? Nah.
