Yes,my wife passed interview got the pink slip and everything. However, today she got letter asking for another document. Is this a bad sign or what, and why they didnt ask for that in the interview? When you submit the requested documents how long is it usually before u hear an answer back from the embassy?

Certianly it's not a bad sign. What document are they asking to bring in? It depends exactly what they are asking for.

They are asking for DECS school record

Now I can say DEFINITELY not a bad thing. However, I wonder why they would ask for it ... it's not part of a requirement for interview right? Just give them what they ask for, and she'll soon be given her visa.

they asked for it maybe cuz her bc is late reg. But why they dont ask for it during the interview. They told her in interview she is approved now they send this letter doesnt make sense.

That may explain it since it is one good proof that she should have at the time of the interview if she has some correction done with her birth certificate. School records are one good proof that she has records that will show that she has been using the so-then assumed name while attending school. She may also bring birth certificate with it, or another legal document.
