Hey everyone, I called the visa center tonight, and spoke to a woman named Dee, and she said that they recieved our petition today, well I got so excited I forgot to ask her if we have been assigned a case number yet.
What do we do with the case number are we able to track on line somewhere or what.
I've seen several other VJ'rs mention the their case numbers! so if anyone has any info and I know you all do, LOL this is where I come when I need answers to hell with our lawyer!

I don't know where your all at right now but here where I'm at, it's snowin cats and dogs! The roads are gonna be nasty in the morning and I have to go to work! People here in FT mcMurray don't slow down when the roads are bad well not all people but alot of them!

You can find out status by calling the same number, but don't ask for an operator, that takes dforever.
Unless you need to talk to the operator, just use the automated system.

call 603-334-0700 as you did.
then 111 then listen and pick the right one based on the first 3 letters of you USCIS number, then enter your numeric part of the number, then 1.

This will tell you your vsc number, and your case status.

You could also sign up for email notification as well on the USCIS website.
