I'm filling out the I-131, can someone tell me what I'm supposed to put down for "Date of Intended Departure"? I'm applying for AOS,EAD and AP all at once. I don't have a specific date that I plan on going to Canada. Can someone help? Thanks.

You can put down any date you choose. It doesn't necessarily mean you will be given AP by that date, but there's very little importance to the date you put.

My daughter wanted to go to Canada for Thanksgiving the year we applied for her AOS and AP, but it wasn't granted in time. So, she just used the AP to go to Canada after that for her birthday.

What about the expected length of trip? I realize it probably isn't important but I want to fill it out properly. I have a 20 year old son in Canada that I would like to visit on different occasions so I don't know when or how long my trips will be. Thanks for your help.
